Right now the urgent work of humankind is to heal the planet. And I believe that in order to understand what the planet needs from us, we must learn to heal ourselves. Also.

In 2022, we'll be talking about how to heal ourselves and how to heal the Earth's ecosystems. We'll be talking a lot about the connection between humans and food systems and the food culture and the earth.

We as humans, our job is to care for life on planet Earth. I think we are all struggling so much, because the life on planet Earth is dying. We're not meeting our responsibility, and we don't have that web of life to tap into to participate in all we see is we see a dying, our food is processed and packaged and dead. Our bodies are suffering because of it, or our mental health is suffering because of it.

So I hope you'll join me in the coming year to learn to heal, to deeply heal our own bodies, while we also learn to deeply heal the earth and our relationship with it.

There is hope for 2022. We just can't rely on everyone else to do it. I hear so many people say why aren't, you know, why isn't the government doing it? Why aren't the corporations doing it? Why aren't the billionaires doing it?

Because they live in the same destructive culture that we live in. It's our job as the wise elders of society, to transform our food culture, into one that celebrates and supports and grows more life, so that we can be healthier and happier, so that the Earth can be healthy and sustain life for many generations to come.

As the wise elders of society, this is our job. This is our job. We can't just let the culture spiral out of control. Our job is to pass on a functioning culture, a functioning food culture and a living planet to the generations.
